The “Bear” Child, a mischievous, loving world comes to life in The “Bear” Child, a wordless parent-child drama blending dance, mime, and physical comedy. Through playful scenes of tissue-paper snowstorms, dinosaur battles, and bedtime adventures, the show paints a vivid portrait of everyday family life — its laughter, rebellion, rules, and deep affection.

Breaking all language barriers, The “Bear” Child uses pure physical performance to connect instantly with young audiences while offering parents touching reflections of their own family moments. Since its debut, The “Bear” Child has been selected for major festivals including the Shanghai Growth Arts Festival, Taihu Theatre Festival, and Ricca Ricca Festa Okinawa. Now, it brings its infectious energy and warmth to UK stages in 2025. Director Zhenchao Ma says: “We wanted to create a show where parents and children could rediscover each other through laughter and play. The “Bear” Child is every family’s story.”

You Are My Best Friend, following the chaos of home, Beijing Baxun invites audiences into another world — a hospital, where two sick children meet and forge an unforgettable bond. In You Are My Best Friend, both children fear injections, loneliness, and being judged. But as they compete to be brave, their fear gives way to laughter, adventure, and companionship. Together, they transform hospital corridors into playgrounds, create masterpieces from bedsheets and jam, and remind us all that true friendship can make even the hardest times joyful. A tender and playful exploration of resilience and connection, You Are My Best Friend celebrates the healing power of imagination and friendship.
